Our launch pad feels so much closer to complete. After a day of gathering input from our colleagues and members of the community at our education forum, hopefully everyone feels that their voice has been heard and that a brick in the foundation bears their mark.
A skit that comically explained the four principles brought the basis for change to life at our professional development day on Monday, September 24th. Thanks to the gregarious talents of our staff members and the dedicated planning of the Gemini II team, I think everyone left feeling informed and entertained.
Thanks to everyone who contributed ideas to our redesign email forum. Sharing ideas with colleagues was almost as enjoyable as the opening entertainment!
The evening was equally valuable as the Gemini II team presented the principles and challenge of redesign to community members. Individuals were asked to contribute their personal interest regarding redesigning education in Fredonia. With 14 community members present, the evening was deemed a success though plans to quadruple attendance are in place.
