Kindergarten Teacher — We are accepting applications for a kindergarten teaching position for the 2019-2020 school year. 7th – 12th English Teacher — The Fredonia USD 484 School District is accepting applications for a Secondary English Teaching Position for the 2019-2020 school year. Student Advocate Grades 7th to 12th Fredonia USD 484 is accepting applications for a 7th to 12th Student Advocate. Qualified applications should be able help students and families focus on post-secondary goals during their six years of junior high/high school. This job will emphasize life plans, future occupations, job skills, and training needed to be a successful adult.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, intense work environment.
  • Experience working with students

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide services that enable students to develop self understanding so that they may live with their
  • own decisions in the problem solving process.
  • Help build relationships with postsecondary schools for programs of interest.
  • Help build community partnerships that focus on internships for students in their areas of interest.

EDUCATION:

  • Associates or Bachelor Degree

Substitute Teachers—we are always in need of substitute teachers. Persons interested must have a valid Emergency Substitute Teacher License (60 hours or more  of college credit) or a Standard Substitute Teaching License (previously held a teacher’s license). Licensed subs can be placed on the list for substitutes at the Board of Education Office at 300 N. 6th Street in Fredonia. Call Denice at 378-4177 for further information.

Substitute Bus Drivers—fill out the bus driver application form below and bring to the Board of Education Office at 300 N. 6th St. or email to dguthrie@fredoniaks.com. Subs will need to have a CDL license with and S & P Endorsement. Required to take district provided  First Aid and Defensive Driving Certification.
